LanguageGo helps you build a Japanese vocabulary habit. These terms explain the app licence and optional Mastery purchases.

1. Publisher and use

LanguageGo is published by Bryson Hill II. Use the app for personal study on devices permitted by Apple's licence. Do not unlawfully redistribute the app, interfere with its services, or misuse another person's purchase access. Rights expressly allowed by applicable law and third-party content licences remain unaffected.

2. Free access and Mastery

The current launch version offers a 500-word Core vocabulary window based on your starting point. Mastery unlocks the full 1,500-word Core collection. Widgets, reviews, audio, writing practice for supported characters, themes, and reminders are available for the words you can access. Separate expansion and JLPT decks are not part of the current launch scope.

Mastery may be offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription or a lifetime one-time purchase. The in-app purchase screen states the available product, period, local price, and any eligible introductory offer before you confirm. Website launch prices are informational; Apple displays the final price and applicable taxes for your region.

3. Payment, renewal, and trials

Apple charges your Apple account when you confirm a purchase, or after an eligible free trial ends. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel or manage purchases in Apple subscription settings.

Any offered free trial is available only to eligible users and converts to the stated paid plan unless cancelled before it ends. Any unused trial portion may be forfeited when you buy a subscription. Cancelling normally stops the next renewal while access continues through the paid period, subject to Apple's terms.

Lifetime Mastery is a single purchase with no recurring subscription charge. It unlocks the stated Mastery content for the supported life of the app; it is not a promise of perpetual app operation or every possible future product.

4. Restoring purchases and refunds

Restore purchases in the app using the same Apple account used for purchase. Purchase access is managed through Apple and RevenueCat. Study progress remains local and is not transferred by Restore purchases. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles refund requests under its policies and applicable consumer law. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot promise that Apple will approve a refund.

5. Learning content and third-party licences

Vocabulary, example sentences, stroke diagrams, and voice recordings include third-party materials. Attribution and licence links appear in the app's Credits and on our credits page. Their licences govern the respective materials. LanguageGo is not affiliated with Anki, the JLPT organizers, or the publishers of reference apps.

Translations, examples, and level labels are study aids and may contain errors. Learning outcomes and exam results are not guaranteed. Send corrections to support@languagego.app.

6. Availability and changes

Widgets depend on iOS refresh timing; a new word on every screen wake is not guaranteed. Audio downloads and purchase validation require a connection when not cached. Device support, offerings, and features may change. We will honor applicable consumer obligations for purchased access and give notice of material changes where required.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local study data, purchase services, audio downloads, and support messages.

8. Consumer protections

Apple's Standard EULA describes the app licence, warranties, and liability limits. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction. Any service limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
