A little help.

Widgets and words
How do I add a lock-screen widget?
Touch and hold your iPhone lock screen, choose Customize → Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and select LanguageGo. For a home-screen widget, touch and hold the home screen, choose Edit → Add Widget, and search for LanguageGo. Widget options vary by iOS version and available space.
Why does the widget show a different word from the app?
The widget rotates words, while the app's study queue prioritizes reviews. Tap the word or sentence widget to open that displayed item in the app. Opening the app directly can show your next due card. iOS controls background widget updates, so changes may take a little time to appear.
Does a glance count as a review?
Viewing a widget introduces a word. Rating a recall card with Missed, Close, or Got it schedules its next review. You do not need to rate a word just to view it.
Reminders and audio
My reminders aren't showing.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → LanguageGo and allow the alert locations you want. Check Focus and Scheduled Summary too. In LanguageGo, open Settings → Reminders, confirm the time, then choose Send test notification. Daily reminders, evening streak reminders, and the weekly recap can be controlled separately.
How do I change the voice or playback speed?
Open Settings → Audio. Choose a voice and Slow, Normal, or Fast. Some recordings download the first time they play. If a recording is unavailable, the app can use a Japanese device voice. Clear downloaded audio there to free space; it will download again when needed.
Mastery and purchases
What does Mastery unlock?
Mastery expands the free 500-word window to the full 1,500-word Core collection. The same study tools work with your unlocked vocabulary. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime options may be available in the purchase screen. Separate expansion decks are not included in the current launch scope.
I bought Mastery, but it looks locked.
Check that your device uses the Apple account used for purchase, then open Settings → About LanguageGo → Restore purchases. A network connection is needed to check purchase status. If it still does not restore, email us with the product name and the error shown. Do not send your Apple ID password.
How do I cancel or ask for a refund?
Use Apple subscription settings to manage or cancel. Deleting the app does not stop subscription renewal. For refunds, visit Apple's refund request page; Apple decides eligibility.
Your progress
Can I import Anki decks or sync across devices?
The launch app includes its own Core vocabulary. Personal Anki import and Anki sync are not currently available. Your study progress is stored on your device; Restore purchases restores paid access, not review history.
How do I remove my data?
There is no app account to delete. Remove LanguageGo widgets and use iOS Delete App to remove local app data; Offload App keeps data. Manage device backups separately. Clear browser site data for the demo. To request deletion of support or purchase-service records, email us. See the privacy policy for details.
I found a translation or audio problem.
Email the Japanese word, the example sentence if relevant, and the voice you selected. We will use your report to investigate the content.
